Pulse News is an independent American publication covering politics, business, technology, health, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and crime. We publish daily, and we read what we publish before it goes out.

Our editorial focus is on what changes, not what announces itself. The headlines most newsrooms chase fade by lunch. We try to follow ideas from where they start to who they reach — what gets announced, what actually changes, and what happens to people in between.

What we believe

• Independence over access. We'd rather miss a press briefing than soft-pedal a story to keep invitations.
• Plain language. If a reader needs a glossary, we've failed at our job, not theirs.
• Corrections in public. We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we say so on the same page where we got it wrong, with the date and what changed.
• No dark patterns. No popups that hide the close button. No autoplay video. No paywall on the news itself.

What you won't find here

No tracking scripts that follow you across the web. No content generated to fill a quota. No bottom-of-article slideshow funnels. We don't do listicles for their own sake, and we don't inflate word counts.

How we're funded
