Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Pulse News (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit pulsenewspaper.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep it short and accurate.

What we collect

• Newsletter signups: if you submit your email address to subscribe, we store your email, sign-up source page, and timestamp. We use this only to send you the newsletter, when that service launches.
• IP addresses: our server briefly retains the IP address of the most recent newsletter sign-up attempts to rate-limit abuse. These are not linked to your email and are discarded within an hour.
• Standard server logs:our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic request metadata (IP, user agent, path) for security and operations, retained per Vercel's policy.
• Cookies: editor logins to /admin set a session cookie. Google Analytics (see below) sets analytics cookies for public readers.
• Google Analytics:we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic patterns (popular articles, traffic sources, browsers). IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We do not link analytics data to your email or any identifying information. You can opt out via Google's browser opt-out add-on.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
• We do not share your email with third parties.
• We do not run third-party advertising on this site.
• We do not use cross-site trackers or fingerprinting techniques beyond the standard Google Analytics integration described above.

Email and unsubscribe

Newsletter emails (when active) will include a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from sending lists; we retain a hashed fingerprint of the address so we don't accidentally re-add you.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or correct inaccuracies. Email news@pulsenewspaper.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
